This route, as its name suggests, starts and ends in the town of Chía, a beautiful village located at an altitude of 1,223 meters with beautiful views of the spectacular landscapes of the Ribagorza. It is worth visiting its town center with its typical mountain architecture.
The route begins by descending the Chía pass where a perfect road surface and long, steep straights will delight the most demanding descenders. At the junction with the A-139 road, we will take the direction of Castejón de Sos, and after pedaling only 500 meters, we will take the turn-off to our left towards this town, crossing the town completely. The road continues to climb continuously for the next 1.5 km, until reaching the turn-off with indications to Urmella. At this point, the road becomes even more demanding to complete 4 km of a hard climb. After visiting the village of Urmella, we must retrace our steps until we reach the turn-off towards Arasán, which we left behind when we ascended. Following this road, we will leave Arasán behind until we reach the junction with the Solano road. When we reach this junction, we must turn left to descend again to the town of Castejón de Sos.
After passing the town of Castejón de Sos, we will take the turn-off to the right following the signs to Benasque, where 14 km of gentle ascent await us. After the ascent, we will return on the same A-139 road until we take the turn-off to Chía. Three and a half kilometers of a very demanding ascent, with an average gradient of 9%, will put the final touch to this stage.
