Very complete route through a beautiful medium mountain environment, that will allow you to discover the impressive forests of the north face of Turbón (2492 m), a magical mountain in whose foothills the bear inhabits. Selvaplana is an enchanted forest with numerous legends about witches and mysterious beings, hence the name of the route. The route combines a visit to this forest with a small loop through the area of Terras Royas, the old route 8 of the Puro Pirineo center. The itinerary begins from Laspaúles downhill, following a beautiful and long trail along the Blanco River until it flows into the road that goes up to Espés Bajo. At that point, a long ascent begins, first along the narrow local road and then along a steep track to the beautiful forest of Selvaplana. After a rest, the route continues descending to Abella by trail. Once in the town, you must return to Laspaúles first by local road and then by the national road N-260 for a few minutes (be very careful!). The route ends with an interesting loop that borders the Isábena River, first uphill passing through Villarué and finally descending to Laspaúles along the entertaining Terras Royas trail, a happy ending to a varied route in a magnificent mountain landscape.
