The villages of Abella, Espés Alto, and Espés Bajo have managed to maintain their rural charm over the years, transporting the cyclist to another era.

We will start the route from the town of Castejón de Sos, ascending the Coll de Fadas pass. This 10km climb, with an average gradient of 5% and ramps of up to 10%, will allow us to reach an altitude of 1470m. After covering about 3-4km of flat terrain with some undulations, we must be careful not to miss the turn-off that we will find on our right with indications to Abella and Espés. This secondary road, with almost no traffic, continues to climb for 3km before descending towards the villages of Abella, Espés Alto, and Espés Bajo. The views of this small corner of the Benasque Valley are spectacular, showing the cyclist a landscape where time seems to have stood still. The descent is slow due to the condition of the asphalt and the narrow, winding road. Once the descent is finished, we will turn left at the junction with the A-1605 road to face the climb to the Bonansa pass. It is a short pass and its difficulty increases as the kilometers pass. We will start with ramps of 4% until reaching ramps of 7.5% at the top. Once we have crowned, we will embark on a fast descent with excellent road surface and very sunny at any time of year. At the end of the descent, we will take the left turn at the junction with the N-260 road where, after 4-5km of gentle ascent, we will start the climb to the Coll de Espina pass.

The last climb of the route is long and demanding. With a length of 7km from the junction with the town of Noales to its end, the average gradient is 7% with ramps exceeding 10%. After crowning Coll de Espina we will find a zone of false flats that connect the pass with the final descent of Coll de Fadas.
